Services by commission
LIVING AND WOVEN WILLOW STRUCTURES
Living Willow Farm creates living willow landscape features by commission for private and commercial use.
Farmer and artist Howard Peller has used his weaving techniques to create willow garden gates, plant supports, and even a wattle fence maze. Work is to order and custom to your space and needs.
Why Willow?
Willow provides a home to a very diverse and beneficial community of insects, birds, bees, and other living creatures. Farmer and artist Howard Peller has planted living willow structures-sculptures throughout the farm which provide an early supply of nourishment for beehives and native insects, protect gardens with deer-resistant fencing, buffer gardens with willow windrows, and imbue wonder with magical tunnels, domes, and sacred spaces.
At Living Willow Farm, we encourage you to consider learning to weave with willow to create useful and beautiful objects and create living willow projects which will nourish your landscape and provide an opportunity for creative, colorful, and useful landscape elements that support native pollinators.
